We invite you to join the Ritz Chamber Players for Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom, a special performance featuring works exclusively composed by Black Composers. Together, we’ll commemorate the end of slavery in the United States and celebrate Juneteenth, now officially recognized as a federal holiday. The Ritz Chamber Players program will showcase pieces that speak to the significance of this historic moment with a mix of new works and classic repertoire, that will leave you inspired.

During the June 19th performance in St. Augustine, audiences can also enjoy additional selections, including "Plenty Good Room" and "Motherless Child/Swing Low, Sweet Chariot", arranged by Maria Thompson Corley, and "Four Spirituals For Soprano And String Quartet", arranged by Stephen Andrew Taylor.
